Monitoring S.M.A.R.T. attributes in software RAID mode on Windows operating system
You can monitor S.M.A.R.T. alerts on hard drives that support and have enabled SATA in AHCI mode and RAID mode. Alert capability is integrated through iDRAC-supported auditing methods for hard drives with a SATA chipset controller. Only PDR16, or predictive failure, and PDR22, or temperature threshold exceeded, events are monitored.
