Move files over LAN FAST | 1-10Gbps+ | A FileZilla Client/Server Crash Course

Got a fast router, or just want to hook 2 computers up directly to move files at lightning speed? Well, you can, and it’s rather easy once everything’s set up. In this video, I go from start to finish, and you can copy files at your full local network speed, in my case 1Gbps, but it can go to 10Gbps and above!
Don’t worry if your router is slower than that, it will fully utilize it and you’ll have files moved from one computer to another FAST!

  • you need to make a updatate to these video the program is diferent naw and these video is pretty much uselesss now

  • They appear to have stripped most of the buttons and dialogues from the application so they could sell users the guide to do all this. It's now under Server > Configure > Users. I think I'll just use another software or something.

  • Do I need a LAN transfer cable for this to work?

  • Fuck. I was hoping a newer video than the one that was uploaded 8 years ago would be correct in 2023 but my server page does not look like it does at 3:48 and it doesn't let you select file paths like done in the video. It instead asks for native and virtual paths, which I have no clue on what it wants.

  • i did everything as you said but copy speed is same as regular copy paste. 11mb per sec and my network card is on full duplex 1GB setting

  • stinks windows 10 blocks it and corrupts the files

  • outstanding! this is very helpful

    thanks a lot

  • Manage to make a connection. Unfortunately i am only transfering at an average of 7MiB/s. My ethernet cards is at 1Gbps both server and client using cat5 cable not cat5e.

  • Hello , can I move files between a Win Xp PC and Win 10 laptop with this software ?

  • Is there a way to upload files faster to a game server? Ive been looking everywhere and I cant find out how to make filezilla go faster than 900KiB/s I may not have the fastest upload but its literally using 1% of my network in task manager and its insanely slow.

  • Can you make Tutorial Use this method to copy large files from RDP to local machine

  • thanks my man no more waiting 34 hrs for 200 gb you a god 😀
