Hi,this is Hansshow,we are specialized in Tesla accessories for many years and we would like to collaborate with your channel,do you interested to review our products?
Jacob, I had an original 2018 Model 3 (less than 10K serial number) and fortunately had very few issues (but I tend to overlook things that would drive others crazy). I just recieved my new performance model 3, and I will have to accept that this is the first year they are producing it. Quality issues are very typical with every car manufacturer in the first year. That being said, the problem seems to be the service people NOT believing the complaints. That is what I find unacceptable. Good luck in resolving these issues. I know you just want to enjoy your new car.
If you knew the LR would get the $7.5k tax credit would you still have opted for the Performance?
never buy the 1st of anything brother !
Hey man! I hate to hear you’re having this experience with your brand new Tesla! Interestingly enough, I’m having the exact same issue with that clicking/creaking noise in 22 M3P particularly at low speeds and when I turn my wheel to the left. My service center is great but I’ll be visiting them for the 3rd time this. Week. 1st time-memorial day weekend, low staff but was suggested that it was the control arm that needed replacement 2nd time- I let them know based on the previous advisor recommendation that my control arm needed replacement but they changed the upper control arm which apparently wasn’t the issue(but at least I got a new one 🤷🏽). They did leave me a message upon picking up my car letting me know that it was more than likely the lower control arm and to make another appt. All the is inconvenience of time all has been free since I’m still under 50,000miles .3rd times a charm. This was apparently a known issue as well a few years back with Model 3’s too, so hopefully it’s a simple free fix for you!
The Tesla service center in Burbank is the absolute worst
That clicking sound is from the wheel "caps". Take off the big cap pieces and the sound will be gone.
Milking the negative videos.
This is why I went with BMW. Better build quality and amazing customer service. Sorry to hear about your experience brother.
File lemon if possible
Appreciate your objective view and honesty. I totally feel the same, the customer service is trash, total trash! But if everything is good and you're not so unlucky like you the cars are insane for the quality/price ratio. And software obviously
Dude, I’ll give you 5K for your lemon, that way you can move on and get a KIA 😂
The rim sound is probably something in the rim. I had a nut come off the stem once and did the same.
Thank you for pointing out these issues and the poor service Tesla provides to its customers. Please try to put pressure on them otherwise they will not improve. My sister let them try to fix a problem on a new model Y after the third attempt the problem was still there and she gave the car back to Tesla after one week of ownership. Unfortunately, a lawyer had to fight Tesla to get the money back and it took him almost six months to get the money back.
It’s almost as if turn signals shouldn’t be buttons
Thank you for posting this video and spreading awareness. I have 2 Teslas and I love them both. But you are absolutely correct about the customer experience with the service centers. They have not made any significant improvements. They are a nightmare to deal with and you are guilty until proven innocent every time you take your car in for any issues.
Tesla still the best EV hands down. BMW and Mercedes will be 3 times the money.
Sorry for your experience. I have an 18 month old Model Y and my wife has a 6 month old Model Y. We've had zero problems. They've been perfect. I don't know what a Service Center is like, but the one closest to me has good reviews.
Little issues like this are not unusual on very early production cars from any manufacturer. Annoying for sure, but reality. On the other hand, I picked up a Model Y Dual Motor from Austin a few months ago, and it is perfect, paint, fit, and operation. Luck of the draw, but you should have been treated better at the service center, for sure, to make it all right on a new production car.
Did you review your lemon law disclosure? There might be something in there to help you if you haven’t. I wouldn’t say that it’s typical to have that many issues.
It's like a Russian roulette with these cars. And if you get a broken one, have fun getting it repaired! What a nightmare.
Tesla service centers have been amazing for me. Can’t draw conclusions over a handful of other ppls experiences or from one service center
Service experience varies between service centers
This sucks BIG time. Why didn’t u just lease as planned b4 switching to purchase?, I might just lease instead this is crazy with this price tag.
