• I’d be all over this if it included a rear facing cam out the rear window. What the hell

• I loved for a while but 2 things happened and it sucked after that. 1) I saw this wifi signal alert pop up briefly from the cam and never saw it again. Which brings me to 2) I cant view anything when I try to connect live. I can be standing right next to my car and it wont allow me to view anything so idk if its the Bluetooth or that wifi that came and left that I have to somehow find again because I can't connect to the cam. It only connects sometimes when Im inside the house like an hour or two after leaving my car and entering the house. But if I want to randomly check on it then it in the middle of the night because I heard something outside and just wanted to take a peek out on the street then it wont connect. The customer service desk told me wait for the recent update that should have been out already but i don't see a difference in the issue being resolved yet. Any ideas? Because the Rove R2-4K and the Nexar One and NexC2 are looking good right about now. All suggestions are appreciated!

• Can I still use this only with WiFi without subscription for any data?

• If someone pays monthly for an actual LTE data plan, you would think it would be unlimited live view.. the perfect two-way live view LTE dash camera does not exist

• You should probably get a bigger knife to cut through the polythene.

• Completely disappointing, I got my and never work I not internet service no returns no no money back it’s a complete still. DO NOT BUY THIS PRODUCT ITS A SPAN I DON’T KNOW WHY STILL SELING THIS , They know it’s no working because they change the internet provider.

• Appreciate your video! Looking into Owlcam because my car was broken into so hoping it can be a deterrent. And keep it from happening again.

• I bought this camera in September of last year and I feel cheated by this company because there is no entity that protects the buyer. I called customer service and they just said sorry but they couldn't send me another camera and that I should buy another if I wanted their services.

• Thanks to the new company that took over named CallPass. They took great platform and destroyed it. Whoever is running that company I would love to hear what they taught by doing this to a loyal fan base that you already had locked in. Oh and the best part my owlcam doesn't even connect over the wifi local network for me to access whatever it recorded. So at this point I just went and picked up the Blackvue 750-2CH LTE.

• Garbage! I wanted to see if this piece of crap owlcam would work without service,,,,,yep, pure garbage. Reboot the camera, reboot the phone, no connection.If it did connect, it would lock up. Pure garbage!

• OWLCAM HAS GONE INTO THE TOILET!!
  I don't know what happened, but Owlcam is now a greedy company, run by who!!!
  I've had my Owl dash camera for over 2 years and they just raised their monthly rates from $99/year to $240/year for one camera!!!!!
  NO tech support for the past few months as people's cameras didn't work or couldn't get initialized!!! … after spending $350!!! They say support is up and running – yeah right, just try calling!!
  Now, they have licensed operations to a company called "CallPass", who immediately decided to rob all loyal Owlcam customers by screwing them by more than doubling the monthly fee!
  Plus, the have screwed with the software (of course)
  – NO MORE "Instant Video Alerts", which is why you probably bought the dash cam in the first place, that alerted you when your car was bumped!
  – NO MORE downloading and sharing videos when away from your car!
  – NO MORE remote live viewing!!
  – NO MORE "Ok Presto" voice activation
  Check their website too … was nice, now looks like CRAP!!
  It was a good idea while it lasted! … Anyone want to buy an Owlcam … cheap!!!

• I just received email from them saying their new 4G provider changed so all my credits are gone (booooo) plus they have a new LTE plan min of $19.95/mo compared to previous which is only $4.99/mo. I still have 3 mos left supposed to be before it reaches my 1st year anniversary owning this camera but I think it’s time to buy a new one that doesn’t require monthly fee. This camera already is costly + the ridiculous monthly for me it’s better to find a more affordable one.

• Hello, Its about three months later and my Owl Cam is still work in the car. Although it is still working, it's still not recording anywhere. Does anyone know if there is another company that may have taken over the old company and if so have they or will they be reinitiating the AI technology? If there is any news of another company that will help reactivate the Owl Cam's, I'd really love to hear about it. Any information provided would be helpful. While we're all in the midst of this Covid-19 pandemic, please all Stay Safe.

• The Owl Cam company went out of business sometime in February. I'm not sure of the exact date. I've even attempted to return the cam to Best Buy and they've out-right refused to accept it back since they've discontinued the sale of this product. If you hear of another company that is buying or taking over their AI technology, I'd really love to hear back from you on that. In the meantime, I am keeping the Owl Cam on my dashboard because if nothing else, it makes for a great deterrent to people wanting to touch or even come close to my car. I guess that's a plus while all else fails.
  There is another company that I read an article on last week that showed some interest in acquiring Owl Cam assets, but I've lost the article and quite frankly don't have the time to research it again.

• The company went out of "Business". They're no longer supporting connectivity to the device, no matter where it is. Stop advocating for Owl Cam and tell us where or with whom we can reactivate this $350.00 paperweight!!!!!!!

• OWl Car Cam apparently went out of business and now I can't use the cam at all. Let me know if you've heard any news!

• You may want to take this vid down as it appears owlcam is going out of business. Not answering their phones, emails or live chat. Amazon.com page deleted and products and buy page deleted from their website.

• My Owl quit working a few days ago. Lots of others having the same issue although some report theirs are still working. The most troubling thing is nobody answers the phone at Owlcam, no return calls or emails, nothing. PLEASE do your research into the company before dropping any $$$ with these guys.
