NextCloud, Gmail, and Outlook all in one spot

Connecting your Gmail and Outlook account to NextCloud for a one stop shopping experience.

To set up Gmail go to your Gmail account and select the gear in the upper right corner.

Click see all settings

Click Accounts and Imports

Click other google account settings

Click security

Scroll down and select 2-step Verification

Set it up how ever you want too

Go back to security and scroll down and click App passwords

Select Device Windows Computer

Select App Other (Custom Name)

Name it NextCloud (or what ever you want)

Select Generate

Copy the password and then click Done

Go back to NextCloud and select Manual

Input your email address

imap.gmail.com

IMAP User = youremailaddress

IMAP Password = paste the password you generated

SMTP Setting = smtp.gmail.com

SMTP User = youremailaddress

SMTP Password = paste the password you generated

Click Connect

Test out your E-mails by sending a message from one to another.
