  • RoundCube is nice and has a clean interface, better than Gmail's interface. Seeing it improve more than what it already is a good thing. I hope it will be posible to use it independently.

  • I think Nextclouds AI (although I didn’t use Hub 5, 6 or now Hub 7) is the only AI I kind of care are bother enough to actually use it. I tend to use Nextcloud as a simple backend to sync files between phone, pc and laptop. But fully local AI only one my data where I can easily detect hallucinations because I know the source, that sound like a winner for me.

Most other AI things go in the one ear and out the other. I just don’t care.
I only used AI whatever’s once now and apparently hallucinated stackoverflow questions are scientific research papers.

Also you did really well on Schleswig-Holstein and I very much approved the pride pin 🏳️‍🌈

  • Yo, Im an Australian and feel oppressed by my government, will you wear a badge for me too?

  • 6:44 Nearly completely correct.
Better than usual when you pronounce german words too.

  • Nicco, big greetings from us! 👋Thank you for the fabulous video! We can't wait to share this video with our audience 💙

  • Where is the hair? Haha, in your Talk with brodie you said your haircut sucked in the past, totally disagree

  • Great and informative video. Nextcloud helped me a lot to reduce my dependency from Google services.

  • love nextcloud. hate the app. man, the autoupload is bugged as hell.

  • Thanks for video Nicco! Heard a lot of good things about Nextcloud.

Also thanks for keeping few of the slip ups when you speak. I am also not a native English speaker and I too mess up while speaking it due to my mother tongue influence.😅

  • I love the idea of nextcloud. And as a Cloud Professional I expected easy processes using it in my homelabprivate use. Sadly I dripped out because of the really bad OOB experience regarding setting up migration, backup and restore scenarios and their installs may work smooth with snap, but everything else looked like a high-school project. I don't want a team to manage this – and the learning curve is much steeper than so many similar projects four your de-googling efforts. Back to syncthing with webdav + caldav. YMMV.

  • Nicco's accents and pronunciation never lets me down. Whenever I feel sad or depressed, I watch one of his videos. It makes my day.

  • Also, to counterbalance the homophobe in the comments. I want to say that as a trans person I really appreciate the badges you've been wearing. I did in fact notice them ages ago.

  • This is the way AI should be done. Just today Pycharm popped up a message telling me I could turn on AI integration. But they only support an OpenAI based model and would involve sending my code to OpenAI. Ehh, no, no thanks.

  • Is there any plans to add breeze theme support for gtk4?

  • WTF is up with the badge bruh. Unsubbed.
