Nintendo Switch uses their own version of Linux under a proprietary umbrella
I must be cursed, because Linux runs better on my M1 Mac and Nintendo Switch than my x86 PCs.
You had a game boy, huh? Well, I had a board game when I was a kid. Granted, Pong came out when I was in high school. My senior year, I got a job working on stereos. My boss got a pong machine he hooked up to one of the TVs. I actually got paid $2.75 an hour to play pong with him. He was so bad I had a challenge to make it look like he could win.

So a Nintendo console gets a desktop OS which allows you to install wine, which would make it a PC, therefore Nintendo has finally made a PC. It all comes full circle.
Ah, so that's why Kubuntu was asking me to upgrade the other day. It took a little while but it was successful. But I was unhappy with how it uninstalled KDENLive, Shotcut, and Thunderbird…and like you said I lost my thunderbird configs.
I'm more care about run nintendo switch emu on linux.
