  • Help for nslookup on macOS in Terminal is "man nslookup" at the command prompt, for any of those who may be wondering. Thanks for a good video, Steve!

  • nslookup is only returning ipv6. Microsoft says disabling ipv6 is not good. But it does the job. How can I solve this?

  • man nslookup (for Linux help). Also Linux nslookup altérnate is dig cmd

  • Hey Steve,
This may be a silly question but I am quite new in the field. I want to avoid trouble while exploring my curiosity and learning. I used nslookup as you did with "http://www.google.com" after I learned about it in my lesson at school, but I wanted to make sure that this is acceptable? I have no intention of "digging." I just realized quickly after that I should have checked if it is okay to run nslookup on a company's website.

  • 6:14 why do we use the domain name and not the host name for the MX record?

  • Thank you, for the great video. I found it very informative and look forward to viewing more of your material.
