• Hi i just tried to install it on my Arch linux via AUR but i got this error:

  i tried to download appimage version but still not run with the same error.

• There are already a bunch of websites that can convert YouTube to mp3, you don't even have to install the app, it's converted beforehand and you only download the mp3 file. Of course they warn against converting copy written material, but I'm sure it still happens 😏

• I tried Nuclear out briefly with my local music library of ~4,000 tracks and the experience was… less than pleasant, to say the least. First attempt importing my library crashed the program, the file browser became unusably slow and unresponsive after the second successful import, search only returned results for a single query out of 5 or so that I tried, and the worst thing? The software became a hell of a memory hog. Just idling at the local library browser, it was using up ~1.4GB out of my 16GB of RAM. For streaming, Nuclear probably works as intended, but using it for local files isn't something I can recommend until/if it gets properly optimized for it.

  Let this act as a PSA: don't use Nuclear for your local library. Go with something like Museeks instead.

• Can you please teach how to install this?? Accessing github looks like a programmer thing – lots of complicated files, and i don't have any idea about what file i must donwnload. I want the version that allows to download music without errors. Can you link this file, please? I'm not a advanced user or programmer 🙁

• This program really doesn't work well. It doesn't even get the songs I want some of the time.

• the flatpak probably needs file system access which can be provided by using flatseal

• You should make a video about Mopidy.

  It's a music server that is extensible with plugins and therefore lets you stream music from whatever provider you want.
  The plugin support is really good (beautifuls graphical frontends like Iris, streaming adapters to soundcloud, spotify, youtube, radio stations, local media, etc)

  It can also act as a mpd server and therefore also support all the existing mpd clients like mpc etc.

  It's honestly everything you would ever need for streaming audio.
