  • It can look like that because it's build with web technologies (Chrome browser in this case). The Downside is that it consumes much more memory than other more "native" clients. Propably more than thunderbird altough I havent't tested this. Also such apps tend to be slower.

  • Besides the fact, that Nylas copies all your emails from the accounts you add – it's a nice looking client.

  • I'm very sad, I wasn't able to install N1 in Linuxmint (LMDE2), cinnamon crashes…no way
