OpenFL: Building Better AI Models with Private Data – Niroop Ammbashankar, Intel
Federated learning is a paradigm that enables organizations to collaborate on machine learning projects without sharing sensitive patient data. This lowers the barrier to international collaboration to build generalizable models that mitigate bias by allowing access to larger and more diverse datasets. This talk will highlight key considerations in federated learning, the cross Intel collaboration that created this platform, several exciting usages of OpenFL (the world’s largest healthcare federation, working with NASA, and more), and how you can get involved with this LF AI & Data project!
