OpenNMS 101 Module 06 A SNMP Introduction

This video reviews SNMP at the 20,000 ft level. Several net-snmp packages are installed on the OpenNMS server. The snmp daemon is started. OpenNMS is monitoring SNMP. The OpenNMS SNMP config files are examined. The server net-snmp config files are examined. “snmptranslate” and “snmpwalk” are demonstrated.
