OpenStack Acceleration Service- Introduction of Cyborg Project
Following a great session at Barcelona Summit, we created a new project called Cyborg, which aims to provide a management framework for dedicated devices (e.g. FPGA, GPU, NVMe SSD) as well as various accelerators (e.g iNIC, ip-sec card, dpdk) in OpenStack, in addition to Nova. The case Cyborg targets is vital for HPC cloud implementation which usually requires a lot of such devices/accelerators, especially FPGA and GPU cards.
