OPNsense version 24 migration of DHCP Statics to Kea DHCP

This video explains how to use the migration tool to migrate your DHCP static assignments from the old DHCP Service to the new Kea DHCP server. You must upgrade to version 24 of OPNsense before you can use this tool.

The utility can be found here https://github.com/EasyG0ing1/Migration

  • Thanks for the tool and video. On first install Kea seemed to use "Auto collect option data" which seemed to dish out my router IP as DNS. When I disabled this options and pushed out the correct DNS servers and domain name / domain name searches, despite having restarted the service and disabling ISC it was still dishing out the router and no domain name (tested on iphone and windows). I had to reboot OpnSense firewall to get it to all come up correctly. Anyway – awesome migration tool – thanks
