Our Chest are Bursting with… Fun? – STARDEUS (v11) – Let's Play – Ep 7

We are experiencing a very minor case of total spaceship destruction. Please remain calm.

  • I assume you got so often the CPU issues due to the large amount of solar panels are build every episode

  • Quick tip: use batch production for stuff you use a lot (copper wire, transistors, gears) or that take a while (water from ice), you can set the batch amount to 10 so they produce 10 at a time.

  • CPU's don't need to be next to the ship's core computer, pretty sure only data loaders and heat sinks have that requirement. And the core tends to get pretty hot if enclosed without vents or anything like it is now.

  • Don't know if it has already been mentioned but sometimes there is no floors under the generated doors at start. The western door in your command center seems to be lacking a floor.

  • Dear lord the exploding toilets are driving me crazy! Put them in a room and stop covering your main room in poo!!! 😛

  • Since Mark III is a clone of Mark II, shouldn’t he be called Mark II Too?

  • A few more tips:
    – Holding CTRL when clicking will select only tiles, useful for selecting a planter underneath a plant and harvested materials.
    – You can increase the light radius through the UI
    – Forgetting a research would not give the datoids back, it would only recover disk space
    – Each electric connection consumes equal amount of CPU regardless of the connected device type. You can see how many devices you can connect in the Electricity overlay (F1)
    – To remove or create an electrical connection quickly, select the device (without switching to connect tool), then shift + click a connector. Works vice versa with selecting a connector first.
    – You can order building walls above unbuild floors to save time

  • I think when you were autoconnecting a lot of the lights ended up with 2 or 3 power connections, I’m pretty sure they all overlapped

  • Six times the power (from 0.2 to 1.2 kw) for 50% more ZB (from 8 to 12 ZB) of disk space seems quite inefficient.
Also using the scary defrag mechanic would help with your cpu usage I assume. At least in my games I can truck along with the same amount of stuff and basically just one cpu module.

  • So ep5 is following ep5 that is followed whid ep7😊

  • Thank you! I didn't like this game in the first episode.. now I can't stop playing the game myself.
