  • This video was made awhile ago, but whenever I add # [network], # generateResolvConf = false to wsl.conf [network] doesn't highlight green. I checked resolv.conf and they dont seem to appear either, Im using manjaro if that matters at all.

  • Ok, at this point, I'm just feeling stupid. This is an awful lot of ridiculous hoops to jump through for one stupid program that the programmers were too lazy to make available for Windows (that's all I even wanted this for – to try out one single program). Seems to me that Microsoft could have worked with Ubunto to just do all this up in GUI from start to finish, make wizards to do the heavy lifting where needed, and really, just DO some of this junk that everyone has to do anyway, behind the scenes where no one would have to worry about it. Literally, when I clicked on the Ubuntu icon in my Star Menu, I should have just been given the actual Ubuntu GUI OS Platform's setup wizard and been on my way at least an hour ago. User-friendliness matters. This is definitely not user-friendly. It doesn't even make any real logical sense on the outset to anyone who's new to all of this, and who is willing to at least try doing all this needless extra command line hoop jumping. I mean, what's dumber? People re-typing a bunch of too-fastly given commands while squinting at a video of someone else's monitor, (commands that are completely identical for everyone the world over) or just each user selecting an icon from their start menu that DOES IT ALL FOR THEM? Hint: it's not the former option.

  • Wow wtf.. why would you want it to change every boot 😢. Also I had a strange problem.. dns works then after like 2 hours of the server being on suddenly dns is gone and can’t connect to anything… feels like a pretty bad default setup considering how critical dns is.

  • This doesn’t do a damn thing if you use a vpn with dynamic dns…

  • please make a video how to access camera and other hardware in wsl. thanks

  • You are godsend 🙌. This channel doesn't get the attention it deserves 🙏

  • I would love to know if its fixed new patch windows 11 22h2 and should i update or not ?? (heard games lagg etc)
