  I want to use either the Windows Bedrock or Android Bedrock version of Minecraft with Linux, not on a VM like this, but on bare metal.

  I'm curious about using it with Arch and other distros like Debian and other "mainstream" distros and DEs. Also wondering about Puppy Linux for a 64bit mini laptop with not a lot of storage.

  Have you done anything with these? How did it go? What did you do & use?

  i switched from win10 to fedora and well, i can't seem to install the game because theres this error that says "ask google again, failed to obtain apk url"
  is this bc i bought minecraft from xbox/windows store before?? do i have to get the mobile version to play this? i dont really see the point of buying the android version since i don't play on phone that much

• hey while playing minecraft w10 edition w my system I get about 1000fps. Will this get me the same fps as it does on windows? I am thinking about switching to linux but this is kind of stopping me from doing so

• This is not a vm, guys. It's something similar to Waydoird or Anbox,an Android compatibility layer with x86_64 ported version of Minecraft.For a more usable version of Minecraft,i would recommend you to play Minecraft on Waydroid with Arm translation layer on it. It will be more laggy but less bugs and almost all features works perfectly.

• Along with some features being dropped, you also lose some of the performance that you would get on normal android device, all because that launcher uses android vm, which is why.

• This just made my day, week, month, year so far maybe. Altered the process a little bit for my system but essentially the same. Glad to save space and not put stuff like kde extras in until i find a need for them. I'm excited I can essentially play the same stuff(maps, addon packs, realms, etc.) on my mobile as my Linux puter. 😁

• It's amazing how simple this is and also, it runs a lot better on Linux than natively o Windows on my PC

  Edit: been playing for a bit and controller support is working great, only thing that's broken is when you import texture packs the game crashes

• Marketplace and skin custo is all buggy and does not work, the gameplay is smooth though.
