Thanks a Lot … Best Video ! Python for CCNA
Do we need it ? Nop, its just for passing the exam only
Can you please show how to make and inject virus in friends computer via just plug in and out USB drive and access his devices and data in mine
Hi Chuck: After watching a bunch of Youtube Video, GNS 3 Videos which is the next Generation Engineer (The GNS3® Certified Associate (GNS3A) program is a multi-vendor, next generation network engineer certification that focuses on the core skills that network engineers need for the new era of rapidly changing, programmable, automated, and intelligent networks.) I also watched David Bombal GNS3, Udemy Courses and YouTube Videos where the NEW CCNA Certification is going towards the Next-Gen Engineer or Hybrid Engineer, what''s the best possible way to prepare for this ? ie. Linux+, Python, Ansible, GNS3 Certification? what's your thoughts on this?
Hello Chuck, I am a beginner in networking. I am planning to learn the new CCNA. What is your suggestions. How shall I prepared for the new exam. What are the free online effective networking tutorial and books?
Do I need to major in Computer Science in order for me to become a Network Engineer?
I've valid dumps to pass the exam .. dumps are only for passing exam not for learning as 325$ are on the line .. if anyone needs it ping me at
salmankha899@gmail.com
As there are many scammers around the market so Pay me after exam no issue in that
Cannot wait to listen about the new CCNA. I am learning now as crazy from nooob to composite CCNA exam by Feb but I'm sure I do not have enough time and I am rushing it too much. Hope the new exam won't be an absolute nightmare and if I fail the old one, I can easily adapt for the new one
BTW, Python 2.x will be E.O.L. at the start of 2020. Go with Python 3.x.
People are afraid of Python? I'm planning to do a hat trick with automation: ENAUTO, DCAUTO and SECAUTO.
Where can i study for the devnet certification?,can anyone help me here
Looking to join the army to gain skills do you think amry 25B would be a good fit ?
Hi @NetworkChuck I have my ccna in route and switch but for for next year will I automatically be getting the new certication that cisco implented when you already have your ccna
I was gonna try and take the ccent and icnd2 before February but sadly I can't get it done in time. What's the entry cert for the new CCNA? I have no experience in networking.
All these network certs remind me of fitness trainer certs
We're getting a 4-6 month extension for the old CCNA at our school
I'm a network engineer that is moving away from networking to programming. Because of this, I have decided to completely stop focusing on Cisco certs with the exception of DEVNET and CCNP Security. Also might do the CCNP Automation track but I don't plan on using that too much.
Pass on codeacademy personally. Unless you just want a super high level overview and don't care about actually being good at, or actually understanding, what you are learning.
The programs are way too short and their content is shallow. Go to Udemy. It's cheaper and the content is vastly superior.
No Linux support for Boson NetSim, big bummer…
My CCNA expired in OCT 2017, I need to renew it , I am going to start studying again , should i bother studying for 200-125 or I just prep for the new exam 200-301?
Just got my CCNA yesterday, so happy.
C'mon man finish codecademy already!
@NetworkChuck what keyboard are you rocking?
CHUCK! I felt like I bombed a job interview yesterday and my apartment stank like bacon while I was laying in bed wallowing in all the things i said wrong… and then this morning they called me back in for a third / final interview! Exciting! Thanks for your videos I feel like I've learned a lot! Wish me luck!
Great chat! I love how even though you have a specific title for the purpose of the live show, you always end up talking about a lot of great topics that are important to all of us. Thx @network chuck!
Well I will say this.. Its better to know beyond what your job scope is.. If you are a CCNA / Juniper / HP Network Engineer be familiar with Virtualization and Linux and Server environments because you're going to be attached and affecting them. Automation is unavoidable – It will eventually show itself. Having A cert that familiarizes you with them- MCSE, VMWare, Juniper and Cisco etc.. Its sounds like its over-kill but its not. The Hot-Shot Engineers are all locked down at great jobs or Companies and the stress they have for that 6 figures is enough. So The Good to Average Engineers have plenty of room
-IF-they have the Experience and or Minimum the Certs. No perfect answer – Engineers with no certs or experience are still around and kicking ass.I have to disagree with the blanket advice of not going straight for the CCNP after achieving CCNA. If you are applying for an entry level job with a CCNP and zero experience I would move your resume (even if I was skeptical I'd want to talk to you first) to the top of the stack. I wouldn't recommend going to college for anyone pursuing this career, but some of the more decent college programs have students graduating with their CCNP. If you are young and don't have a lot of life responsibilities you should absolutely try to climb to the master ranks while you have the time and energy to do so. Don't go for the CCNP–get your CCIE!! If you are an expert in one field then potential employers will have great confidence in your ability to learn other tasks on the job.
In my personal experience (I know this won't speak to every situation) I have benefited much more from moving up in expertise rather than having a broad skill set. If you are an expert in one area of IT, then you will have the mental fortitude and aptitude to quickly and easily learn low level complimentary skills.
Just my two cents. Great vid!
I've been trying to figure out my way into the Cybersecurity field not having any experience. Starting with the doubt of CompTIA or Cisco to CCNA or CCNP. I ended up doing a Cisco network academy to get some basic knowledge, and the next thing is… Is it necessary to get a windows laptop since I own a mac? what are the minimum requisites for the laptop to be useful?
Thanks a lot.
Waiting on podcast feed to update with latest episodes…….
I just passed CCNaA now i have started learning python. but sadly i have 0 experience. hopefully i will get a job
People are paying for certs now to show they know bachelor's level Python???
Stop paying these companies guys. Python is the most free language out there, go make a portfolio of your stuff. A 2 hour test won't help you when you're competing with international talent who have been coming since they were 10.
nice display!!! what is it???
Hello brother where r u from ?
I don't think I could join networking at better time. I don't how a lot of knowledge about networking, but I'm good at python. Looking forward doing the Devnet certification in the future.
there is also the PCAP cert that I'm currently learning now and its amazing just for the fundamentals of python.
👑
Why the hell in all your videos do you have a weirdo face?
Here’s a hot take 😁 avoid the Linux+ and go straight to Red Hat for the RHCSA. I think there’s a myth that you might be missing out on some basics but it’s just not true. You really do learn from the ground-up when you prep for the RHCSA. The whole test is task-based so it might be a little intimidating but it’s worth it.
Great talk. One nice tidbit about Golang is it’s crazy fast. Since it’s compiled rather than interpreted, finding potential errors are found immediately by the compiler instead of being found as a program is running (python). Some companies are even replacing their python with Golang for the speed, concurrency, and strictly-typed benefits. Not that that should deter anyone from learning python first.
Chuck: Don’t take the DevNet exam if you’re not a developer
Also Chuck: In addition to CCNP Route, CCNP Switch and the new CCNA I’m going to take the DevNet Associate exam in February
Pls describe us how to get network job as a new CCNA R&S ceritified.
When are we going to get that build video of the PC in the back? Looks like a Noctua cooler insinde a Fractal Define R6
If you are a student, your school's library may already have the o'reilly books on tap. check with them first before you shell out.
Are you from South Africa? if so how one can go to another country and start working there in IT ?
do you recommend Kevin Wallace's Network programmability course? Regular is 197 but I can get it for 98.50. "In this course, you'll learn how to program in Python and how to write programs that send instructions to Cisco's APIC and APIC-EM controllers. You'll also write programs that communicate directly with network devices, and LOTS more"
