QC Ubiquiti EdgeMAX – PPPoE Client WAN IP Address from ISP

This video focuses on acquiring a PPPoE WAN IP address when using an EdgeRouter. This type of address assignment is authenticated with either the Password Authentication Protocol (PAP) or the Challenge Handshake Authentication Protocol (CHAP). Unfortunately, the EdgeMAX product line only supports PAP by default. In the video I also talk about the Maximum Segment Size (MSS) of TCP and how this relates to using a PPPoE interface.
