• Thanks for the detailed guide, can this also apply for possible corrupted .dll files in system 32? As in, the error I get trying to open some things also shows for command prompt and I can't open command prompt, so I would have to do this from PowerShell. Please answer this

• The whole process didn't helped me at all, but the sfc /scannow command didn't find any damaged or corrupted file. I still have the problem where I cant open a psd file, because it says that I am missing some dll files.

• Hi Brian, Your 2nd cmd is posted as, "Dir *.dll /s /b c:regdll.bat", This symbol is missing, ">" between, b > c:,

  The 2nd cmd used in your video was & correctly should be, "Dir *.dll /s /b > c:regdll.bat"

  I did not notice this till I ran the incorrect cmd & pages & pages of files in the cmd window ran for a few minutes before stopping, I then ran the correct cmd & copied the bat file to the desktop

  Your WBF is 1,774 KB, Please advise what I need to do to correct the error I have now made for myself,
  My WBF is 5,033 KB, The size is very odd, I thought I doubled the file by running the cmd twice but it is almost 3 times larger than yours

  On executing it says access is denied

• Very important note that becarefull when you replace c with Regsvr32.exe /s c: as you may have windows disk different from brite

• i can't save the batch file due to permissions, so i change my permissions for me to be able to do this and the same message pops up, does anyone have a workaround
