RECOVER Microsoft MARCH 2020 UPDATE

RECOVER from Microsoft’s March 2020 update that has caused systems to start booting only to be presented with a black screen that stales or boots to a screen showing Error BCD and code 0xc0000098 or receive error alert: Windows Boot Manager Windows failed to start. A recent hardware or software change might be the cause. Status: 0xc000000e Info: The boot selection failed because a required device is inaccessible. Action is needed to remedy the problem quickly by using a CD/DVD system repair disc or using a USB system repair to boot from.
IMPORTANT: If bootrec/fixboot returns with “Access Denied”, try typing in bootsect/nt60 sys then type the bootrec /fixboot This video shows how to fix, reset and repair the master boot record in Windows 7, Windows 8 and Windows 10. If you are having boot errors and having issues booting into Windows, there is a high probability the problem stems from the MBR. Provided can enter into Safe Mode with Command Prompt functionality, this video should have you up and running in fifteen minutes or less. This procedure applies for computers, laptops, desktops, and tablets operating the Windows 10, Windows 8/8.1, Windows 7 operating systems. Works for all the major computer manufactures (such as Dell, HP, Acer, Asus, Toshiba, Lenovo, Samsung).
Insert your bootable media and power on the computer. Keep pressing the KEY to enter into the boot MENU and select the CD/DVD or USB Flash Drive you created. The computer should now be booting the Installation/Recovery software.
Once the Microsoft installation window has presented itself click on next to the install window, do NOT click on INSTALL, however, click on REPAIR YOUR COMPUTER in the lower left bottom corner.
Moving forward click TROUBLESHOOT, then click COMMAND PROMPT.
You’ll see a screen looking something like this:

DISKPART select volume # [Use the # for the volume hosting system and windows.]

DISKPART select partition # [Use the # for your system partition usually 100MB to 900MB]
DISKPART assign letter=R: [This can be any letter not in use.]
DISKPART select partition 2 [This is your Windows partition check closely as yours may be different.]
DISKPART assign letter=C:
DISKPART exit
X:Sources format R: /FS:FAT32 [This is the system partition that may be labeled SYSTEM or PRIMARY. One can distinguish the difference by its 100MB size although sometimes it can be around 900MB. When formatting and it requests a label type SYSTEM.]
