Primary job responsibilities:
• Create automated tests and carry out manual tests
• Develop tests using automation infrastructure and available scripting languages
• Create test cases and maintain solid understanding of the processes
• Help develop the community automation testing framework and enhance the coverage by adding more tests to the existing suite
• Write clear and accurate bug reports
• Build or improve tools after gaining support from stakeholders in the QE and Development teams
Required skills:
• Python coding skills
• Linux or UNIX knowledge
• Understanding of virtualization and cloud technologies like VMware, KVM, Xen, Platform-as-a-Service (PaaS), and Infrastructure-as-a-Service (IaaS)
• Understanding of container technologies, Docker, and Kubernetes
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
• Good knowledge and understanding of storage architectures is a plus
• Experience with automated testing is a plus
