Remove Puzzle Icon for Extension Button from Chrome PWA Title bar
PWA (stands for Progressive Web Application), a combination of web programs that use modern web technologies. It helps users to create a user-friendly interface as native apps do so that a user can experience the convenience of the application. It is beneficial to the entrepreneurs but also chained with few limitations.
Remove Puzzle Icon from Chrome PWA Title bar
PWA offers seamless conversations, many popular websites such as AliExpress, Twitter, Flipkart, etc. launched their PWA and claimed better engagement than native applications.
On the other hand, this application limits the user in making inter-application communication. If you want to remove the puzzle icon from the Chrome PWA Title bar, follow the below suggestions:
- Launch the Google Chrome browser.
- Go to the chrome://flags page.
- Search flags for Desktop PWAs elided extensions menu.
- Click on the drop-down menu and switch it from Default to Enabled.
- Restart your browser to apply the changes.

To get it started, open Google Chrome browser which doesn’t have PWA.
Inside the app area, go to the address bar, type chrome://flags, and press Enter.
Then go to the search box, type Desktop PWAs elided extensions menu and you will see the related flag in the Experiments section.
Alternatively, copy and paste the following text code in the Chrome address bar and press Enter to open the flag directly.

This will lead you to the next window where you will get an option of Desktop PWA elided extension.
Now click on the drop-down menu, next to the Desktop PWAs elided extensions menu, and switch to the Enabled option.
Then move to the Taskbar area and click on the Relaunch button so that the changes will take effect the next time you open the browser.
TIP: You can also remove the Extensions button or Puzzle icon from Chrome browser toolbar.
