  • Bhai chip fomat ni ho rhi agr phone me format krta hu to write protection likha aata h or pc pr krta hu to wondow was unable format likha aata hai ye kaise hogi format tell me

  • U can't see where he's going how is someone that's computer illiterate know where to go

  • bhai mere laptop me sd card koi bhi lagane par write protected dikha raha hai
youtube ke sare video try kiya par koi bhi video ka tarika sahi nahi kar pa raha hai to ab mai kya karu
laptop ko format karawa kar phir se win7 sadhawa du

  • I tried the Steps shown in Video but still issue has not been resolved ?

also i re-inserted the Micro SD card,, but still showing same message "The disk is write protected"

  • I did this and it did not work for me. Found out it was the reader, switched it out for a different one and it let me format my micro SD

  • It didn't work for me… I am running a format without Quick Format checked. Ill report back if that works.

  • I figured it out, make sure the switch on the side of the SD card / or the SD adapter is pushed up, if its set all the way back its locked, up is unlocked

  • it said it was removed successfully, but when I started to add files to the disk it said it was still write protected

  • Thank you – it worked for me! Admittedly not straight away – I followed instructions (diskpart / list disk / select disk 1 / attributes disk clear readonly / exit) and left disk until next day when I started computer, and it had worked.
I have three SD cards and one was still working – so I knew it was not a computer or reader fault. After following video I reinserted card but still error, restarted computer but still error, so waited until the next day – when I saw that what I had done from video the previous day did now let SD card cut files from it (beforehand could only copy, which was the error).

  • didn't work for me
    i'm calling lexark tmrw

  • after completing all the steps it still says its write protected? any help please

  • after looking at tones of other videos which all failed this one was the light at the end of the tunnel good job

  • i followed this video and all it did was make my sd completely unuseable. the computer says there is a card there but no info on the card at all wont let me access it or format it. it doesnt even tell me what how many gigs the card is anymore. 128 gb card down the drain. hoping you know a undo for it.

  • Didnt work for me until I removed the card and re-inserted, now I can delete stuff. Thanks Vikas 🙂
