  • IT WORKED ! The charger was lighting up , whenever the battery will die the icon would show up. I’d put it on the charger, but then it wouldn’t restart. But this worked perfectly thank you!!!

  • My surface pro 6 (touch screen laptop/tablet) will still not turn on after trying all the commonly recommended steps.. Windows logo briefly appears after pushing power button, but even after holding power and volume button for over 30 seconds… Even tried plugging it into the wall (Yes, the power cable lights up when connected..) and letting it charge overnight and trying all over again.. still, Nothing. Any other ideas? Thanks!

  • Just press the volume + button together with power button, keep them on hold until tue system reboots.
    Problem solved, the rest is bogus

  • I have two surfaces the one that’s not working the led lights don’t come on and then when I plug it into other surface the charger stops working until I disconnect it from main then reconnect then led light comes on with working surface..

  • Thank you!! Holding the power and volume up button saved me! I couldnt turn on my computer and the empty battery sign started flashing. The restart allowed me to turn on the computer, then uninstall the Microsoft Surface ACPI-Compliant Battery, and the issue seems to have been fixed!

  • There are times when the battery gos too low to charge up. I get a UBS C cord and give it a little charge then go back to the Surface Go cord.
