  • I really need help on this error. I tried running the command systemctl enable –now cockpit.socket and I got this error. "Failed to download metadata for repo 'rhbop-textonly-1-for-middleware-rpms': Cannot download repomd.xml: Cannot download rpodata/repomd.xml: All mirrors were tried".

  • This is lacking a lot of configuration detail that virt-manager contains. It looks like it is a bit premature to deprecate virt-manager.

  • A couple of questions:
    1. Is it possible to set a VM to autostart from the Cockpit?
    2. Is it possible to add some custom parameters to the VM, such as pci or usb passthrough? (doesn't have to be through the Cockpit), but so that the machine would still be manageable via Cockpit for the common tasks.

  • Hey – can someone explain how to add custom network interfaces to a VM? I want to create a V-Pfsense router with a bridged network cards but i cannot find any options in cockpit. Regards

  • The cockpit-machine package needs to be deloped hugely if it is going to replace virt-manager. A lot of essential functionality is missing in the current version.
