It’s time for common sense leadership. I’m an engineer and hi-tech worker, not a career politician. As a Saratoga councilmember, I reduced crime and was honored to be reelected with the highest vote count in city history.

My wife, Seema, and I are both immigrants, and we’ve loved raising our sons in this district. Unfortunately, career politicians and their puppetmasters are ruining California’s quality of life with counterproductive policies that increase crime, homelessness, taxes, and utility rates. Against all logic, they undermine rooftop solar and waste taxpayer money on a light rail system almost no one uses.
The economy has shifted. Breakthroughs in artificial intelligence present us with an unknown future. More than ever, our congressional district needs informed, diligent, tech-savvy leadership.

Rishi is a fiscally moderate problem-solver who fights for the people. As an engineer and immigrant, he found his calling as an activist tackling complex community issues. As a councilmember, he has challenged the system and focused on tough problems seeking to find solutions. He rejected many San Jose Water Company rate hikes, reduced burglaries, and stopped a hotel mega-project in an environmentally sensitive zone.
