Rocky Linux is the effective successor to the OG CentOS Linux which was discontinued and replaced by CentOS Stream.

A couple things I didn’t mention or left out of the video:
– I encountered numerous network-related issues with the Rocky mirrors.
– The default Rocky repos seemed to be missing many packages that were in the upstream Centos repos
– The installer “soft-lockup” was actually really bad and it didn’t recover from it completely
– The FAQ & help documentation on the Rocky website was severely lacking in general support & information
