• Thank you this actually helped with my Jetson Tx1 (nvidia board)
  Without the sudo chmod u+x ~/(file) it wouldn't run. Once I did that I was able to do the sudo ./(filename)

• What is the difference between directly accessing it and having ./ in front of it? Just curious.
