sambaXP 2021: Testing Testing Testing! Updates
Last year Sachin Prahbu and Günther Deschner (both Red Hat / Samba Team) introduced the GlusterFS-Samba integration testing environment, a CI environment allowing to test Samba with a GlusterFS backend. Over the last year, they have used it to test nightly Samba and GlusterFS builds and also expanded the test coverage and test environments.
In this update, Prabhu and Deschner discuss changes to the project. They also go through some obscure bugs that the CI environment helped discover in the Samba-GlusterFS installations as well as catching regressions due to changes introduced upstream. They also discuss future directions for the project.
