• This phone was so beautiful. I loved HTC phones since my first "smart phone" back in mid 2000s the PPC6700 and avery model after that, even when they switched to android from windows mobile with the original EVO, the first phone to have a built in kick stand and then the EVO lte which I thought the design was sexy.. then I had the M7 in blue and the last HTC phone I had was the red M8 on Verizon, oh that phone was so sexy…. in 2022 I'm a samsung fan now and using a note 20 ultra, after HTC I went for the note line.

• 2 things bettter then the g3 off top kick stand for watching movies , beats audio for headphone sound.. i think the evo is more organized i don't know i just like the evo better maybe it's because i had the evo lte first but i just got the galaxy s3 so we'll see if i grow to like it more …

• Both phones rock and are truly neck and neck but I prefer the EVO !!!! Better build quality and internal components, better audio(Beats), Better camera, Brighter and clearer screen, kickstand, HD Voice, FM radio. The only advantage to the S3 is the removable battery,extra ram and the slightly bigger screen.

• I got both phones got the evo 1st then s3 can honestly say you can notice the 312 ppi on the evo than the 305ppi I think it is on the s3 LCD over amoled

• Just got the evo in white an love it…also the recent apps button is a menu if you press/hold.

• The Evo is better! Better build, better look, kickstand and hardware camera button. And now they both have Jelly Bean and it makes the Evo faster than the S3.

• soooo truuuue… He really didn't do a fair comparison, he even admits he doesn't know any specs for them. He talked about personal preferences a lot and its hard not to think that he prefers the gs3 because it's the new kid on the block in comparison to the evo. If you watch his reviews on the evo before gs3 came out he was all praise

  i love watching the "boot up test" but practically it doesn't mean much. obviously you want your phone to boot up as fast as possible but if it takes 10 seconds or 30 seconds it doens't really matter as you don't really reboot your phone often.

  My LTevo boots up crazy fast with fastboot but i will tell you that the only time where you REALLY need it to boot up fast (usually after a crash or dead battery) it takes way longer.

  So real world utility of fastboot is minimal in my opinion

• I have the EVO LTE coming from a Galaxy Nexus. The Nexus always found and locked to LTE fine when in a covered area. With the EVO I have to do the airplane mode dance. @qbking77 does the EVO give you good LTE connectivity when your in a covered area? Or has the S3 outperformed the EVO. Everything else about the EVO I love more than the S3. But I have S3 on the way being delivered… going to sell one.

• Was super one sided. The GS3 is a female looking device my wife has one. The evo is for designed more for men thats why i bought it. Samsung has always made flashy products that target the women audience. Compare the phones dude.

• Samsung is too plasticky, Evo has a much better build quality and processor speed even with less ram.

• This would've been a great smartphone comparison if you would've have compared the phones by their actual pros and cons. It's not really a comparison if you are 100% a GS3 fan. Your personal "likes" of the GS3 won this, not the actual specs of the hardware and software. This video was totally biased. So much missing information because you "personally like" the the GS3 better. Thumbs down to you buddy.

• I had a evo LTE and I was always used to be with HTC since the days of the G1 but I have to say THe Evo lte was a big downer. Mine died (Internally) after a little over 2 months of use 🙁 I got a GS3 and I was impressed by it BUT the GS3 does feel cheap but I got a nice case and removed that ugly as hell touchwiz and put on Jellybean to get it a nice clean look.

• Do you know if they will make Jelly Bean availble for the Evo 4g lte? Because I herd Jelly allow you have make a menu button out of one of the three home buttons. I use the menu button all the time.
