What is happening is that we are all putting money before people. Profit before society. Richness before happiness. Work before life.
It’s a vortex that takes cities down. The more rich a city becomes, the more rich people will start living there, gentrifying every block. Then normal jobs and services start disappearing because normal people with normal jobs can’t afford to live in or near the city and finally move away. All that remains are homeless and desperates… and unfortunately some of them will start with crimes, drugs and violence.
We want cities that work perfectly but inhabited just by rich people…how do you think that to be feasible?
These major cities were amazing once, because they were melting pots of cultures and social status. Everyone could have a job that at least could make the life in the city affordable.

He didn’t even cover the theft and break-ins of vehicles. Cops aren’t even allowed to pursue them. They drive around with a stolen car looking through each car and bashing the windows in broad daylight. It is very dangerous ! Never park on the street. My car was stolen there. Also, never leave so much as a coin or jacket in the car! You can also get mugged! A co-worker was robbed for his cellphone and wallet at gun point there in broad daylight. Crack heads shoot up in the streets and some are even passed out cold! Smells awful too with a bunch of cardboard shelters.
Why don't these supermarkets just place McDonald's like auto service machines at the entrance.
