• As I have said before,this reminds me of taking apart "old" equipment in the late 1960's from Collins Radio (Collins Rockwell) for fun. My father( an old Ham operator) bought it so cheap. He used parts to update his equipment. His power supply stood. 5 foot tall!

• You should open that crystal oscillator box, it may contain a very nice glass tubed crystal with heavy (if not pure) gold contacts.

• These old pcb boards have lot of gold palladium silver more than known regular boards. If you open Transistors top white round cap, you'll see gold in it and most of them have gold plated legs. Thanks.
