  • You might also have to set up a VPN tunnel if your home lab is behind NAT

  • I prefer SSHing into my remote just a convenience thing

  • Or you can make it easier and just ssh into your remote with an already installed vscode like you have and it will pull and setting everything automatically for you.

  • What is the benefit of running vscode this way over running the VsCode on my server

  • since youre the official vs code, can you fix it disabling all my plugins and saying it doesnt support virtual environments when im not on a virtual machine and don't know what that means otherwise??
