  • Why don't you get a new license for windows server 2016 on the same machine? Option 4

  • What if you were wanting to run a dedicated multiplayer server for a video game? Could that still work?

I do have a sqlite file in DB Browser, could that be a problem?

  • Can you still use server 2022 for a small company on prem?

  • Azure Arc is another option to keep security updates coming to your on prem 2012 servers for a little bit longer.

  • Hmmm Everything I hear is go cloud. Cloud is just someone else computer and from everything I have calculated it just cost more. Also centralized datacenters are way more of a target for attack. Less Safe. When internet is down everyone go home. I don't understand this big push to the cloud.

  • There is no bigger capital expenditure than overpriced cloud services like Azure etc. Hardware has never been more powerful and more cheaper when it comes to investment to return ratio for your small-medium business. Moving your business to cloud because it is "cheaper" it was and always will be a pipe dream, and marketing teams selling you fog (cloud) in a jar, and calling it magic. You can pry our on-premise server boxes and infrastructure from our cold dead hands. Cloud is great for backup and email-collab-conferencing services like microsoft 365, everything else, do on-premise. You have been warned.

  • Damn, better start getting those server 2008 boxes migrated I guess.

  • Hi Jonathan, thank you for the video. Our SharePoint is under a SSL certificate, however, Microsoft will be ending support as of April 2023. Should I be migrating our HIPAA documents onto Office now, or should I not even worry about it? (Office Migration is expensiveeeee). Thanks.

  • Hi Jonathan, You already helped me create an MSP business with your content , and I need more support now. Please check udemy messages. Thanks in advance! 😀

  • Should businesses get rid of print servers? Are there cloud print options or just print direct to IP Address of the printer?
