  • well it saved me a a bunch of time but still ended up spending 11 hours on a Saturday getting it to work. Needs more directions on the readme as to installing certs and be more clear on the ports used.

  • vurtr is really up your ass when you request port 25 unblocked

  • How do I solve error "Failed to start OpenDKIM DomainKeys Identified Mail (DKIM) Milter." when running the emailwiz.sh?

  • I've just come form your video thats goes setting up a webserver. Can I use the same server to set up my email server?

  • Thanks! I have a Debian Vultr VPS and I used your script and it works perfectly! Now I only have to wait for them to lift the SMTP block on my VPS.

  • What a pain. I started setting up Google Cloud to host a mail server, and… SMTP port is blocked. You have to have a 3rd-party service send all the mail for you, which kind of defeats the purpose, and makes Google Cloud much less cheap. Gonna use something else instead.

  • JEEZ! You are so long winded you just can not get to the point! This is the l-o-n-g-e-s-t 7-minute video I have ever seen.

  • I'd shill for Hetzner for cheap VPS. They are almost half price to other services, vultr, digital ocean, google etc.

  • Nice. Now I'm hosting my own email server as well. Works great.
Though 5$ a month for the vps on vultr is quite expensiv for just hosting a private mail account.

I also issued a pull requests, as I fixed all the stuff that did not work for me. (vultr+debian buster)

  • You should look into the command script. It basically records what you do on the CLI. At least in Arch Linux it comes from the package core/util-linux

  • A vps is mandatory when setting up a email server?

  • My friend try ansible or chef.io to keep the configuration management and make repeatable what you install and configure. You do a lot of great things but I'm sure you are going to like ansible. If you combine with vagrant you can create the entire server from scratch and delete it in a virtual machine running locally or in the cloud

  • Is all of the software you use and mention here Free (libre; as in freedom) Software? I noticed your script doesn't specify a license and that means, by default (in the US at least), it's copyrighted with the assumption that all rights are reserved…

  • ソース見たけど、要点は押さえてある。使えるかもしれないね。
