I'm a Windows Sysadmin so totally new to Linux. But for home-entertainment and out of curiosity installed Linux on Virtualbox. Thanks for your tutorial, it helped me out very nicely! Only one problem, i can only access my Public-share folder via \ip-adrespublic instead of its hostname. Any ideas?

    thanks again
