I had to find a few alternate ways to install things as Microsoft has decommissioned the Web Platform Installer, so even though I managed to find a copy to download there were no available installations.

Hope you're well Bernardo, I'm currently in the process of installing "snipe it" on a windows 2016 server, would this procedure work as well?
Not the best video. Goes too fast, doesn't provide all the required information e.g. 8:50 "Name, physical path and your host name, thisis the information that I provided is okay"…. What insformation? Just showed empy fields on screen and then back to the IIS screen that showed bits of info.
Finished watching video, and it's terrible.
Will find an alternative.

And some information about the version update! for example, if the system is down 🙁 , We have rebuilt and worked on Windows, we have passed the first stages and we want to restore the database. Do we have a problem adding the database file we have to the current version of the program?

I echo some of the comments, it looks like a mission to install. This instantly puts me off. Not because of the challenge but BECAUSE of the challenge it takes to install it!
