SQL Server 2012 Clustering – Part 6
In this video, you will learn how to cluster SQL Server 2012 on Windows Server 2012 using Virtual Operating System. This is multi-part video which explains (1) How to cluster SQL Server 2012 (2) Apply CU3 of 2012 SP1 (3) Cluster SSIS (4) Cluster SSAS (5) Remove Node. You can learn how to cluster using your laptop, without the need of big-hardware setup.
windows server 2012
Very well explained…..
You should explain validation part more clearly. This is one of the most important and challenging part in production environment.

One minor gripe: author mixes iSCSI target with iSCSI initiators while explaining in some parts of the video)
Great..
So what happens if the domain controller server goes down? I would guess that all nodes are in trouble since they will no longer be able to access the data?
This Guy doing R&D on video.
Nice Job
Very nice videos, excellent work, learn very much, Many thanks in advance
Got few info like to share:
1- Did follow you to create five Virtual Disks, all on line, did checked none of them was marked as active, all had the same Drive letters in all three Nodes, all were format with NTFS, but Cluster validation was failing on Storage, finally had to delete all Virtual Disks, and create only one, tested and pass the validation, and create the rest of Virtual Disks and added to Cluster after.
2- Second issue had with Cluster Failover MMC, every time click on Disks to Role getting "weak event….", had to install the kb2803748, I think this was cause by installation of update 2750149. Now ready to follow the rest the rest of videos.
Excellent Way to Explain, Thx a lot for sharing..
Can you run the target and the initiator on the same machine?
Thanx man that was a very kind of you ^_^
