SQL Server 2019 Failover Cluster Configuration on Windows Server 2019
This video is talking about Demo on “SQL Server 2019 Failover Cluster Configuration on Windows Server 2019”.
In this video we will going to use SQL Server 2019 to configure Failover Clustering but this demo also applicable for
SQL Server 2017,SQL Server 2016,2014 and SQL Server 2012.
Steps to configure SQL Server 2019 Failover Cluster Configuration on Windows Server 2019:
1) Create VM Servers:
2. Create New user SQLAdmin that you can use as Domain admin account and Domain SQL Service Account
3) Join all nodes to Domain
4) Enable .NET framework 3.5, Failover Clustering Features and Web Server (IIS) Role.
5) Create Sharable Storage:
E – Data1 (8 GB)
F – Log1 (5 GB)
G – Data2 (4 GB)
H – Log2 (3 GB)
M – MSDTC (512 MB)
Q – Quorum (1 GB)
6) Failover Cluster Validation and Windows Cluster Creation:
7) Configure MSDTC
8) Install SQL Server 2019 & SSMS 18:
9) Add node 2 on Existing Cluster:
10) Install Active – Active Cluster
