Steam Deck OLED & LCD – Long-term Review
Hello, friends! I’ve been using my LCD Steam Deck for about 2 years now and a couple of months ago I upgraded to this Steam Deck OLED. So, I’m just sharing my experience and emotions.

how to repair windows 7
What game is that at 9:38 ?
ты когда голворишь lenovo legion go русский акцент так и прет))
do you think i could buy the oled display and replace it with the lcd unit i have
Launch LCD 256gb model. Runs great and will skip LED to push money into a steam deck 2.
The moment I got a steam deck my switch became a paperweight.
The new yuzu forks go a long way for a better emulation for totk, as long as you fine tune the emulator settings. Can't link but you find the video on youtube.
Why did you run hades at 10 watts on the ally and 8 watts on the go, you can run the go at 5 watts and the ally at 7.
Babe wake up, Max finally found his youtube password. ❤
Steamdeck is the best.always want it beside me 😂😂❤
If the steam deck 2 xomes out in the next 4 years, i would like it to have a screen without any bezzles. Similar or maybe slightly more battery life. And maybe 50% better performance? That can make it slighltly heavier for more battery life in my opinion.
I had been going back and forth between getting the SD OLED or wait for the new ROG Ally. Finally pulled the trigger and ordered the SD today and I’m super excited. I know the Ally has a better performance and your able to play more games but I don’t see myself playing games that require anti-cheat, I can just play competitive games like that on my pc.
Sold my Xbox series x and Nintendo switch because there was no need for them once I got my sd oled
Sadly steamdeck arent powerful enough to run every switch emulator games. thus owning switch is still viable.
Gonna stick with LCD until 1080p oled
Compatibility is almost not an issue, I own a shit ton of games, I can’t play only 3 of them (among them Destiny 2, fuck bungie .I. )
After doing a ton of research, I concluded that the OLED model is like the iPhone N Pro Max, is there if you like it, but not a completely necessary thing, that's when the non pro iPhone models enter, they are perfect for what they are, that's the LCD Steam Deck.
My steam deck OLED killed my switch.
The steam deck made me pissed at Nintendo.
The controls are a nono. The useless trackpad occupy the main area of the device, it should have swapped places with the trackpad at the top. The joystick is so awkwardly placed you have to bend your finger to reach. Why would you place a Dpad first instead of joystick?
Valve is emphasizing Linux. Maybe in the future mega gaming companies will port Triple A games to Linux. One can only hope.
Awesome review sir!
Just a head’s up… the new LCD models are the same as the OLED minus the screens. I have one of the new LCD’s and all of my internals are the same as the OLED.
the legion go has been my favorite after owning all of these
Finally, a new video, pls upload more often
Still rocking the LCD model since release. No need for me to upgrade to an OLED as i still get to play the games i wanna play. Will go for the inevitable SD2 instead if and when it will come out 😏
I've had the Steam Deck since the beginning. Upgraded to an OLED and a 2TB drive right when it was announced. As a dad, I got sucked into playing gacha games on my phone. If only the Steam Deck came out sooner, I might have saved thousands from those gacha games!
I fall in love with this gear, get my 256 lcd model three days ago and i dont regret it, i play cyberpunk and my god its just so diffrent compared to playing stationary on my xbox, but ofc game itself have poor optimization i have to set lovest setting because i had enough of crashes and idk if i buy dlc because i am scared that game gonna work worse but overall its great experience and luckily my library of games is huge.
