Steam linux update / download problem

I have this problem on steam/linux: I can’t update or download any games anymore

UPDATE: turns out it was a problem with the InstallConfig store. Just remove the config.vdf. For more info read this bug report https://github.com/ValveSoftware/steam-for-linux/issues/2281#issuecomment-34102922
