Software plays a central role in reshaping vehicles. Not only core and critical functions but also entertainment and user experience. Mahdi will break down key components of Software-Defined Vehicle concept. SDV requires a collaborative ecosystem of open-source communities, automakers and developers due to massive complexity. In this talk, we’ll take a closer look at the thriving open-source community and projects dedicated to SDV. Mahdi will review existing solutions available for building software-defined vehicles. Certainly, transitioning to SDV is not without its challenges. We will talk about challenges in the way of automotive industry when approaching SDV. Mahdi will present a real-world integration of open-source components to enable some core aspects of SDV functionality. This presentation will provide a tangible understanding of how to kickstart an SDV project.
