Straight Talk Verizon 4G LTE Sim Card APN Setting

Hope this video helps out someone else out there trying to get their 4G LTE Verizon service sim card working on their phone.

**UPDATE** 12/11/2015

Ryan mentioned that also TRACFONE.VZWENTP worked . May want to give this one a try, but if no luck, try the other FTWO.GW9.VZWENTP

  • Thanks! Spent an hour on service chat with Straight talk with them giving me the wrong APN. Tried yours and it worked great!

  • Yeah I have an S3 rooted with a custom rom and had to configure all my APN's. So yeah custom roms has something to do with that. I also have a NOTE 4 which I haven't got a SIM yet for it but most likely i'm going to have to configure my APN's again..

  • I had the same experience when they sent me a vzw sim. I just stuck the sim in and Everything worked except for 4g data connection. I have a VZW lg g3 with a custom rom. I used the tech support chat on the ST website….they said they had to program something on their end, and then told me to reboot. Then 4g LTE worked fine. (aside from the capped data speeds) Didnt have to change anything in the phone.

  • sad…that straight talk 4g VZW speed is capped at 5megs. I have 2 VZW LG G3 phones….one on VZw and one on ST using VZW sim. THe raw VZW tests 48/12…..where as the max the ST one does is 5/2. I hear that using the ATT sim u get full speeds on att and is not capped.

  • yeah I tried all of them, but nothing, it's good though I switched to cricket wireless last week, it works sooooo much better now,actually got unlimited data now for 10 bux more

  • Thanks bro. I factory reset my phone while I was at the laundry mat and I couldn't figure out why my 4G wasn't working. I entered the updated APN and I had data within 5 seconds. Thanks again.

  • I was using the apn name in here on my friends phone and it quit a couple days ago. The new one I found that works on her phone now is TRACFONE.VZWENTP so if anyone having trouble give that one a try.

  • Thank you, thank you, thank you! I just spent a couple of hours on chat and on the phone with ST, and they weren't able to get me reconnected. The updated APN reconnected me!

  • I am having the same problem.. Can get picture messages but cannot access the internet/data… Tried even the updated APN.. only added the name, left the rest… wouldnt work

  • Thanks man! I have a verizon note 3 and about to try and make this work on straight talk. Just to confirm, I set up my service with staight talk, and then if my mobile network doesn't connect I try these apn settings? Thanks again. Most helpful video I've seen believe it or not!

  • i have a vz s4. i activated it online via the straight talk website with no issues. Then i tried to turn it on and activate the phone by making a test call and it will not. tried *22890 and it send me a text that still has my old number and old service. I activated straight talk with a new number. Ive talked to 5 ppl at ST and they say its perfect on their end. But on my end i cant use the phone at all. No internet no calls no text. and it never activated the sim with the new number when i turned it on. I tried changing APN setting but they will not let me click them only the name can i click
