Stuck inside a Shotgun Messiah when the Horde Night begins… – 7 Days to Die (Ep.33)

The Sepdiurnal Virus is rapidly changing and the Red Moon Phenomenon now occurs every single night… In this playthrough I’ll be spinning a wheel to determine the difficulty each day (aka viral mutation/evolution). Some days will be easy, others will be very hard! And each day there will be a horde night. How long can we last before we’re overrun by the undead?!

Zombie X-Factors:
👉Head Shots: Zombies ONLY take damage from head shots
👉Screamers: Zombie screamers spawn more easily
👉Super Hordes: Wandering hordes will appear more frequently and contain more zombies
👉City Infested: Cities will contain extra zombies
👉POI Infested: POIs will contain extra zombies
👉EVERYTHING: All of the above will be active

  • New schedule:
    New Horde every night episodes Saturday/Sunday/Wednesday. Continuing with long episodes until the end which will probably be when 1.0 comes out.

  • You use a lot of grandes Made me think of the rpg from alpha 15. They need to bring that back…. or maybe there's a mod for it lol

  • this was so refreshing, seing you fight in a different place compared to the same building every time is so much more interesting. I usually skip the horde but i watched this one

  • I had the same exact thing happen to me, but I was in Darkness Falls…….So frustrating =/

  • Shotgun Messiah clears flake out on me frequently. It's been like that for at least a few alphas. I usually pass on those when the traders offer them.

  • Destroy the POI generator in that room and they will spawn. This works for all of the buggy quests.. the generators and the switches. It pains me to see you abandon these quests.

  • Wasnt it the red valve in the room that went from the pipes? Not sure, but would make sense to me

  • Without question some of the most intense gaming footage I've ever seen. That was bonkers. I meant to go to bed like an hour ago, but I thought I'd watch a couple of minutes of this episode, and here I am. I am greatly anticipating what may happen as the odds get worse. Another incredible video. Great job buddy.

  • If I remember correctly the zombies there spawn in when you disable the firetrap as in turn the stopcock to turn off the fire.

  • I remember zombies not spawning for me, so I just got frustrated and burned/exploded the whole building

  • What happened to the spider at 23:36 attacking the second floor door?

  • while that was disappointing at the end the game is still a bit buggy for those big T5 quests LOL especially shotgun messiah and that collapsed building poi.

  • I find blade traps are well suited as anti-bird defense. Birds sweep down and get chopped up quick, even if it takes a few passes. Often the blades will last a few hordes before they fail (low upkeep). Requires a flat roof over your fighting position though.

  • 1:00 – lesson learned for next episode. When you get 100 steel cubes next time only use those to replace destroyed blocks near fighting possition 🙂

  • So….here's an idea for next season. You can have a crafting base, no restrictions there. But horde base has to be a PoI of some kind. Your choice…and never the same one again. You can of course use blocks and break things, but you can't prepare a horde base before hand. Just frantic run and gun like this horde night in the PoI.

  • Just like area 51 everything below ground!!

  • The non-spawns are bs. Great horde fight, unprepared for it as you were plus all the bears.

  • When you are going to do a rank 5 or 6 mission, always break the generators, there is a bug in the game that does not generate monsters from a certain location, only after destroying the generator. 😀

  • I had the same issue as you with that POI in that exact same room. There's a button in the room you need to press that spawns the last zombies. Ridiculous.

  • it could be because u had the modifier of increased zombies in a POI so it cant tell how many r in the place to begin with. also the new trap turning off, to spawn in zombies is dumb i think, like what if ur not doing a quest there and make a base then knock out a wall then bam they spawn in or u place a block and they appear that is so dumb
