Hi, got one from wish,the phone came with a root called BootResSelcet, that masks the phone memory, i think mine as about 100mb memory only, but if i go to the defitions shows 32gb, that app chances the definition setiitngs, anyone knows how to desinstal it?

Thank you. This was an excellent video, except for one small understandable error which I will explain later in this review. You have confirmed exactly what I thought about this smart phone. For the most part it is a very pretty piece of junk. The 5" screen is very bright and is easy enough to see, but even when viewing just the app selection and not touching the phone, the battery drops to 66% power in less than 30 minutes, and that is with the screen set to sleep in 1 minute. The speaker is loud enough, and might work OK for a speakerphone, but never for playing music at any enjoyable quality. The instruction "book" is printed in 2 point (nearly microscopic) type and is terribly translated to English. Much does not even apply to operation of the phone, and caused more confusion when I attempted to use the instructions, than just pushing buttons and using common sense to figure it out. I have used computers since 1984, but until now had never owned a smartphone. I needed one, not to use as a phone, but only to connect through Wi-Fi through my router to the internet to do password confirmations on Steam gaming sights and nothing more. In the video he shows his attempt to turn on the Wi-Fi, and when I saw it did not work, I was VERY disappointed, so I tried it myself. Fortunately, i am very slow, which in this case was good. His only mistake in this video is that he did not wait for the Wi-Fi to start up. The specs on this phone claims to have a decent processor, but it is very slow. There is an on screen slide switch to turn on the Wi-Fi, which is shown as WLAN. When you move the slider to "ON" you must wait 4-5 seconds for it to turn green and indicate it is actually on. It is ridiculous for the processor to take this long for a simple screen button to change color. When the phone is powered on, it takes 48 seconds just to get to the main screen with the app icons. It has a place for a micro SD card, but comes with none so within a few minutes you get a repeated warning telling you that there is not enough storage room, and gives you the option to look at details or ignore. If you ignore it pops up again 10 seconds later with the same warning. The "details" show that it is using 1 meg or an 8 meg storage capacity. It is pretty pathetic that it doesn't even have the storage capacity to idle without giving a warning. The USB charging cord that comes with the phone is very short , only about 30" long, so your power plug will need to be very close to phone if you want to keep it plugged in while using it for any length of time since the battery will be dead in less than an hour just idling. I have numerous power cords from other phones which have the same type of plugs, but the power cord which comes with this phone has a much longer plug end that goes into the phone so it can reach through the thickness of the phone case. None of my other power cords, while being the correct type pf plug, had a plug long enough to stay attached to the phone without falling out, so you are stuck with using the power cord that comes with this smart phone, and will need a USB extension cord. I paid $25 for the phone which I believe will work for my purpose after I add a SD card for storage, but if I had it to do all over again, I would have never bought it. One final comment to those who are complaining about this guys accent. I am from Texas and have an accent also which people find funny, but if we took a bit of time to try to help others like he did, there would be a lot less wars. Thanks again for the video. Bought one of these it is not worth any price even if cheap, battery lasted 10mins no storage space when it says 8G is free. It won't download any apps, won't recognise any SD cards & phone gets hot when charging…..avoid these Chinese mobiles buy branded ones saves you money in the end.

Hello! Someone can help me with the rom of this phone. I bricked the phone and i need the firmware. I didn't found a compatible firmware from https://www.needrom.com/category/spreadtrum/sc8825/ . Thank You! Edit: I found how to enter into recovery mode on this phone. Hold power button. After 0,5 seconds hold the volume down button. When the phone turns on, release all buttons. To see the phone starts on recovery or system mode, if it boots to system mode, the phone vibrates when the logo is apearing. When enters in the recovery mode, the phone doesn't vibrates when the logo apears. Anyone can backup boot.img for me?
