Tech Talk: How to Configure SNMP on Yeastar S-Series VoIP PBX (2020)
SNMP, Simple Network Management Protocol, is an Internet Standard protocol for collecting and organizing information about managed devices on IP networks and for modifying that information to change device behavior. To make it simple, #SNMP allows you to proactively view what’s going on on the devices on your network and fix issues before they become major problems.
SNMP feature on a phone system allows the network administrator to use an #NMS (Network Management System) to query #PBX information and monitor PBX devices in real-time. The good news is that SNMP is now supported on Yeastar S-Series VoIP PBX – S100 and S300 with the latest firmware version.
Let me show you how to configure it step by step.
Step 1: Configure SNMP on Yeastar S-Series VoIP PBX. 00:33
Please figure out SNMPv1, SNMPv2c, SNMPx3 in this part.
Step 2: Configure the NMS. 02:36
