Testing OpenStack: The CI involved in making RDO happen

Montréal – February 4th, 2016 – The OpenStack promise is that you can mix and match projects, components, drivers, software, hardware and it will work. Every vendor wants their software and hardware to be integrated in OpenStack. This means that Upstream OpenStack, packagers and vendors have to test everything and that’s hard. So how do we make sure that it actually works? David Moreau Simard joined Red Hat last year precisely to help the RDO community ship a quality OpenStack package distribution faster. In this talk he let us have a look at all the continuous integration (CI) involved in making RDO happen.
