The reason those lawyers got in trouble for using it, was because they were trying to get legal cases to cite in cases, and faced ChatGPT's hallucination problems, then didn't fact check. GPT-4 passed the BAR, and it can perform basic legal stuff. Just like with anything fact check it. Don't do what doofus here did and copy/paste the response

• Yeah there's a lot of people on this platform I would advice against trusting. The flaky folks I'd keep at a distance and the strange acting. Remember folks there are always red flags. Learn to read them. For instance Spencer doesn't care about victims and neither does Max. Max has mentioned someones wealth TWICE now. He is telling on himself and so is Spencer. They only care about making bank and thats it. Not preventing future victims by putting a dangerous person in prison. They talked about letting go of a legal case because the supposed perp had NO ASSETS. If you care about putting someone away thats your last concern. As for illegal content I know he covered animal abuse material and that is actually illegal now like csa material. So that could have tripped a hash check maybe. Its not great but its better than the alternative reason.
