Is this the best way to spend $2000 on a gaming PC in 2024, maybe, maybe not. This customer wanted a solid computer for playing Fortnite Roblox and just about anything else that might be trending in 2024. Team red has a solid hold on the mid-range PC at the moment, this customer wanted to be able to have a good spread of performance and gaming prowess. Thus this AMD build was born. Thoughts?

  • Is this the best way to spend $2000 on a gaming PC in 2024? What would you build for $2000 right now? Let me know!

  • I went with the 7900 XTX Sapphire Pulse and the 7800X3D 😊 (And yes, the Card is MASSIVE… even got a "holding device" for support)
    32Gs 6000Mhz RAM
    2 TB M2 SSD (7000read/write)

Upgraded from a RX 590 since last week😁

  • I like to switch to AMD GPU, but seems there are alot of problems i read with amd and playing World or Warcraft… Any change you know something about it if it's fixed?

  • I was able to piece together both a 4080 super and 7900xtx build at 2k on PCPartPicker. Curious why you didn’t go. With one of those GPU’s

  • I just put together my first build for around the same price (a little higher with monitor and keyboard)
Case: Phanteks XT Pro Ultra with four M25 140mm DRGB fans (was going to get the MSI Gungnir 300R but it was sold out during the sale when I bought everything.
    CPU: Ryzen 7 7800X3D
RAM: G. Skill Trident Z5 Neo RGB 6000M/T CL 30
    Storage: MSI Spatium M480 Pro 2TB Gen 4.0 x4 M.2 NVME SSD (7400 MBps read/7000 MBps write)
GPU: Zotac RTX 4070Ti Super Amp HOLO
    Motherboard: MSI X670E Gaming Plus – Wi-Fi
    PSU: Thermaltake GF1 (2024) 800w 80+ Gold
    AIO: MSI CoreLiquid E360
Monitor: ASRocck Phantom Gaming curved 27" QHD 2560 x 1440. 165Hz, built in Wi-Fi antenna
Keyboard: Logitech G512 Carbon LIGHTSYNC RGB mechanical keyboard with GX Brown tactile switches.

Bought on sale for $2,200 total. Full price of $2,400 before tax/shipping and around $2,500 after. Later on I ordered a surge protecter, Pebble v2 speakers, a second SSD from Kingspec (1TB Gen 4.0 x2 7400 MBps read and 6600 MBps write), as well as the Logitech G502 X Plus mouse.

  • Good but definitely not the best. Can built it with 7900XT & 7800x3D under 1800$ on newegg currently. Drop the Corsair parts (except PSU) and get Phanteks XT Pro Ultra Case, GSkill 32GB CL30 6000Mhz, WD Black 850x 2TB and Thermalright PS120 SE cooler.
